The only PhotoShop work done to these images is slight adjustments to remove color casts and local dodging and burning exposure which are the same processes done in a traditional darkroom.
Assignment photography can be available upon request.
Pacifc View - Santa Monica Mountains.
I was very late to the trail head this time so I removed everything out of the camera bag except a camera body and one lens then went for a run up the mountain. I found this scene only a half mile up the trail. Finding a clearing in the chapparel isn't that easy, let alone finding a foreground subject that isn't part of another subject.
This is pretty close to Los Angeles so it's funny that I say my session ended w/ gunfire down below at the road. I heard 6 rounds being fired off and then another 6 more. It turns out they were being fired out of moving vehicle 500 ft below and a half a mile away. Hopefully they were not shooting at me, I'm thinking it might of been coyotes for target practice. I guess it's cultural.

California's Unknown Sea
Ok, I'm kidding about an unknown sea in California. There isn't one. These are just some rocks in a grassland and nothing more. The atmosphere just gave it a mysterious feel and a view I hadn't seen before or anything similar at the least.. . .
