STEVE SIEREN > Praying for the Tide

Very remote in Humboldt County
Northern California

Yes those are flies on this slowly dying starfish. Shot a few exposures to catch the bugs as sharp as could be and noticed a lot of movement while the starfish seemed to be stationary in front of me. I thought I would give you a different view and emotion feeling rather you than what would usually find. The big rock was left alone to avoid disrupting the scene. I think that bright starfish is going to live to see the next high tide.

The style here is pretty documentary with a touch of art. Thank you for viewing this new gallery.
