Death Valley Photos

Thank you for visiting PhotographDeathValley.com - You'll find unique views and in the future find information on how to not shoot the same old same old. Death Valley National Park can best be described in superlatives: it is the hottest and driest park in the U.S. and is home to the lowest point in North America. Its extreme temperatures make it best visited in the winter, when snow caps the mountains and the low light gives the desert a golden hue. Spring brings over 1000 species of plants to bloom. The park's many trails take hikers through salt flats, soft dunes, gorgeous canyons, natural bridges and vibrantly colored badlands. Please enjoy spectacular, unique and iconic photos of Death Valley National Park or take a photography workshop. A wider list of catagories can be seen here •

Moist and cracked earth tone colored playa patterns in Panamint Valley of Death Valley National Park. After the rare rains have fallen the desert slowly transitions back to it's dryness and the change is well worth recording. Death Valley has many different playas and they each have something unique about them, for some it's the patterns and some it's the springs located in the middle of them. We all know about the moving rocks but what else is out there?
