Oregon's Wild Rivers Coast
One of my favorite times and places for photography is the West Coast at dawn. You can catch the earth's shadow at a place where you might mostly be praying for some dramatic backlight at sunset. The sea mist only adds to the atmosphere of the shadowless twilight enhancing the mood of a peaceful morning. Most of the time you'll find you've got the whole place to yourself until you see that first jogger or other recreationalist thinking, "boy I got up early".
Off in the distance is a wildlife sanctuary and also the largest Island off the coast of Oregon.
4 shot panoramic which of course viewing small doesn't really do it much justice so the large one is there for you. I didn't really get a chance to finish shooting here because I had to be on a boat that was leaving at 8am and headed 40 miles or so up the Rogue River. I really enjoy taking advantage of any recreational activities an area has to offer especially in the middle of the day.Osprey flying above nest over the Rogue River in Oregon
