Dunes Preserve - Central California Coast This nature preserve features towering dunes 550 ft tall, which are the tallest on the west coast. Springtime offers beautiful wildflowers such as evening primrose and sand verbuena. This place is home to the snowy plover during it's nesting season so part of it's access is closed through part of the year.
